Credit Card Finder
The Credit Card Finder is a free public tool at /tools/credit-card-wizard. It helps you compare cash back, travel, and premium cards using your spending profile—not generic “best card” lists.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Walks through goals, monthly spending, credit profile, and existing cards
- Scores cards with a shared valuation engine (rewards, credits, fees, signup bonus fit)
- Shows estimated annual value with an assumptions panel (point value, portal share, rotating categories)
- Recommends single cards, category winners, and optional two- or three-card combos
- Lets you email results or apply through issuer links with a terms summary first
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- It is not financial advice and does not guarantee approval
- Estimates depend on the assumptions you confirm (rotating categories, travel portal share, credits you will use)
- Issuer terms, APR, and bonuses can change—always verify on the issuer site before applying
Authenticated moat
Section titled “Authenticated moat”Signed-in Eclipse users can run the same flow at /tools/card-finder with spending prefilled from real expense data when available.
Data freshness
Section titled “Data freshness”When live card data is available, results disclosures show the latest provider refresh date. If the live feed is unavailable, the tool falls back to a curated static catalog with the same math engine.
